Summer is Heating Up!
Greetings!
 Wow, are you suffering from Tour de France withdrawal? We sure are! We had an amazing time watching Lance Armstrong's come back ride in this year's riveting Tour de France. Four years off the bike and he comes back to finish third overall in the world's biggest sporting event! The man is nothing short of amazing. So, now August is here and the blistering temperatures show no signs of relenting. Don't worry, B3's got lots of great eats, treats, and events to keep the summer heat at bay. So drop by and chill out! We look forward to seeing you.

August Beers: Got an Island Flavor, Mon!
Need some help embracing the heat this month? Well, drop by B3 where we're in a beach state-of-mind. We're serving up some seriously refreshing St. John Brewers beers that will have you jammin' in no time, mon! These tasty bottles, the first home-grown brews of the Virgin Islands, boast fresh citrus and mango flavors; the perfect way to cool down after a day in the water or riding around town. With no major race dominating the cycling schedule, we're free to mix up our wine variety a little this month. To that end, we're offering something to please just about every palette. From Italy: a deep ruby-red Merlot, by Livio Felluga, and a nice simple Chainti, by Stellina  di Notte. From France (or, at least, in the French style): Domaine de Longval Tavel Rose, Chateau Greysac Bordeaux and a Rhone-style blend Chateau La Paws Cote de Bone (a portion of the sales of this wine go to charities that help bring animals and people with disabilities together). We're also serving pitchers of B3's wildly popular red wine and white wine sangrias, served with fresh fruit. Yummy!!! |

We just can't get enough of this great live acoustic trio, especially because their set covers the musical spectrum: gospel, country, folk, funk and pop with an emphasis on harmony and a unique blend of instruments including guitar, bass guitar, slide guitar, banjo, mandolin, accordion, bongos, cajon (a wooden box drum), African drum and a variety of other percussion instruments. That's why we're super pleased to have Dennis, Jeff and Bari back for another live performance. You don't want to miss them. Get here early for a great seat. |
| Movie Night featuring "Bicycle Dreams"

They are seekers, madmen, and angels hell-bent on riding across America on a bicycle in less than ten days. The Race Across America  is an epic, 3000-mile bicycle race from the Pacific to the Atlantic. First held in 1982, RAAM is considered the most challenging sporting event in the world. But what begins as the adventure of a lifetime in this film, quickly transforms in an instant when tragedy strikes the race. These voyagers discover what is truly at stake as they pedal on, praying for the deliverance only the finish line can bring. By journey's end, some are saved, others are lost, but all learn that the fuel that takes a soul toward its own true destiny is desire. As usual, the movie is free and so is the popcorn.

Biking for Breast Cancer

B3 will be supporting the Seminole Cyclists' First Annual Bicycle Poker Run by serving as a Wild Card stop along the metric century ride route. This event will benefit the Young Survival Coalition, the only international nonprofit focused on the concerns and issues unique to young women affected by breast cancer. New Soup plus our Seasonal Salad!
A B3 favorite is back for the month of August, Roasted Tomato and Red Pepper Bisque soup! This wonderful vegetarian soup is
made from smooth red bell pepper puree simmered with vegetables and fire-roasted tomatoes in a rich vegetarian broth highlighted with smoky chipolte and sweet cream.
It's been a big hit so we are keeping our Seasonal Salad around for another month. This salad is sure to delight and refresh your summer palette with blueberries, spinach, pecans, Blue cheese crumbles and raspberry vinaigrette dressing served on the side.
And don't worry, the Seasonal Sandwich is still on the board! A cool and crunchy veggie sandwich is what the doctor ordered for a hot summer. Rye bread filled with lettuce, tomato, red onion, sprouts, cucumber, cheddar cheese, a dash of seasoning and Ranch dressing will fill you up and cool you off.
