Viva Le Tour!
Greetings!
The heat is on this July, here in Orlando and in the racing world. Live coverage of the Tour de France (a.k.a. Lance Armstrong's great comeback tour) begins on July 4th at 9:30 AM and continues through July 26. B3 will broadcast the tour all day (4 times: live at 8:30 AM, recaps at 12:30, 2:30, 5:00 and 8:00) so stop by, grab a cool drink, and watch history unfold with us. We'll be offering specials and giveaways all month!
You have been asking for more sangria, and boy, do we have more! We are now serving 48 ounce pitchers (5 servings) of both the red and white organic sangrias.

July Beers:Terrapin Beer Co., Athens, GA
Okay, so they aren't exactly from France BUT Terrapin is one of the best brewing companies the southeast has to offer. Terrapin Beer Company was born in 2002 when brewers Spike and John  were working at an Atlanta microbrewery and realized that they could make a more unique contribution to the southeast brewery scene than what was on the market. Moving beyond the standard pale ale, brown ale and stouts offered by competitors, Spike and John focused on crafting exceptional beers unavailable in the region. Terrapin's first beer, the Rye Pale Ale quickly won the American Pale Ale Gold Medal at the 2002 Great American Beer Festival just six short months after it was introduced. Terrapin has been on a roll ever since crafting uncommonly great brews. This month, stop by B3 to try their: India Style Brown Ale, Rye Pale Ale, Wake 'N Bake Stout (made with Jittery Joe's Coffee), and for the true beer lover Rye Squared Imperial Pale Ale, a 9.5% ABV beer with a heavy dose of hop. Who says French wines have to be expensive to be good? In honor of the Tour de France, B3 is offering some outstanding French wines this month at an amazingly moderate price. This month's options for great pours include: Chateau Greysac Bordeaux, B&G Bistro Pinot Noir, B&G Bistro Cote du Rhone, and Chateau de Montfort Vouvray. Don't forget about mimosas all month too, made with real Florida orange juice!

R. Anthony Miller, our new B Creative featured artist, is a Central FL-based digital photographer. Anthony's passion is sacred spaces and his work strives to capture the feel, mystery and spirituality of a sacred place through the use of photographic and photo-editing techniques such as multi-layered imagery, selective focus, fog (natural and digitally enhanced) and sometimes pixel-by-pixel editing. We are pleased to showcase Anthony's ethereal "Sacred Spaces" collection here at B3 Café. Anthony's Artist Open House is July 11, so come out for this fun night of music and compelling art. Both are simple, nutritious and both are born from a carefully nurtured ancient fermentation process. Darrell's Birthday!
July is Darrell's birthday month, so we're celebrating THIS year to make up for the celebration he had to miss last year. As many of you know, Darrell was struck by a car while cycling last year and ended up spending his birthday in the hospital. (Boo!) Many of you stepped in to help cover his shifts here at the café or buy an extra cookie or two during the months that followed; which was a kindness we will never ever forget. After a hard year of healing and physical therapy, Darrell is back to his old self and happily back on his bike. So stop by this month and help us raise a glass in honor of Darrell. We're so happy he is safe and well. And, here's a toast of heartfelt thanks to all of YOU who helped make that possible.
