This little tasty broth is packed with chicken, black beans, bell peppers and exotic spices that will have your taste buds shouting: Olé! Giro d'Italia - Mama Mia! Italian Wines and Beer are at B3
There are few things Italians love more than cycling and wine. In honor of the Giro d'Italia, B3 has both for you this month. Second only to the Tour de France as cycling's most prestigious race, The Giro is a race known for its epic climbs, some so high that riders have to contend with lingering snow and ice on the road. The leader stands out by wearing the "maglia rosa" (pink jersey) and the battle isn't over until 21 stages have been completed including the final day time trial in Rome. This year's race promises a battle of epic proportions between cycling's top riders. For the first time in his career Lance Armstrong will be participating in the race along with fellow American contender Levi Lepheimer and their Astana Team. B3 is offering a broad selection of red and white Italian wines this month. Among the palette-pleasing pours, give the Stellina di Notte Pinot Grigio, from Friuli a try. This light delicious white wine is silky on the palate, yields a clean, fresh finish will simply delight you with its aromas of pear, citrus, and honey suckle. Looking for a furity red instead? Try the Conti Contini, Sangiovese, from Tuscany, a well balanced red with a pleasant fruity bouquet and flavors of blackberry fruit. We are also serving Italy's most famous beer, Peroni. Established in Vigevano Italy in 1846, Peroni is the number one lager brand in Italy and has been for over one and a half centuries. A refreshing smooth lager, Peroni is suitable for all occasions like, uh...perhaps watching the Giro d' Italia at B3. |

B-Come a Legend for May

This month B3 staffers Molly and Josan came up with our winning
recipe. Okay sure, their recipe's not really a sandwich and it's not
really a salad. But we chose it anyway and you'll be so glad we did. Molly and
Josan concocted a most delicious quesadilla creation: a soft, whole wheat
wrap filled with cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes and red onions (with grilled
chicken as an option). Sour cream and avocado are served on the side for
dipping. They're calling it M
& J's Cinco de Mayo Quesadilla. Come try it soon; it is only here
for one month.

Artist Open House Saturday, May 9th at 7:30 PM
Casey
Treese, our new B Creative featured artist
(for May & June) is not only a fantastic artist, she is also a member of the B3 Team, making
this artist opening extra special for Jen and Darrell.
Growing up in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she took numerous art
lessons, Casey realized at a very young age that she possessed an artist's love
for being creative and hands on. Her artwork focuses on capturing un-posed
moments, or developing a picture that makes people think about the subject's
thoughts rather than the technique of the painting or drawing.
Casey's Artist Open House is May
9th, so come out for this fun night of music and compelling art.
DJ OAM
will be spinning the tunes, starting at 7:30 PM.

Live Music "Dennis, Jeff and Bari"
Saturday, May 30th at 7:30PM
Hmmm, as often as these guys are here, we might have to start calling them the B3 house band! Well hey, you can never get too much of a great live acoustic trio, especially when their set covers the musical spectrum: gospel, country, folk, funk and pop with an emphasis on harmony and a unique blend of instruments including guitar, bass guitar, slide guitar, banjo, mandolin, accordion, bongos, cajon (a wooden box drum), African drum and a variety of other percussion instruments. That's why we're super pleased to have Dennis, Jeff and Bari back for another live performance. You don't want to miss them. Get here early for a great seat. | |
