Starting at 6:00PM we'll be dimming the lights, switching the music to  romantic jazz and lighting the candles to create a nice romantic atmosphere at the cafe. Come in with your sweetheart for a tasty evening treat, your choice of a Gelato Sunday or Banana Split along with two glasses of wine (your choice from our California selections) all for only $14.99. |

B-Come a Legend February Winner!
This month we congratulate Joe O. and Anne K. who submitted the "Mornin' Honey" recipe. If you know Joe and Anne, you know they are health-conscious - so this is very fitting! The "Mornin' Honey" is a warmed wheat pita stuffed with our organic peanut butter (it's salmonella safe!), bananas, strawberries, granola and honey. Even though it is called "Mornin' Honey", it is available all day for you to enjoy!

Private Parties at B3
Looking for a great relaxing place with a warm atmosphere to have a company meeting, engagement party or holiday celebration? Whatever the occasion, we are happy to host your event. Sundays from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Mondays from 12:00 noon to 10:00 PM are available. From appetizers, to lite dinners and all the way to dessert we have you covered.

With the second month of the 2009 professional racing season upon us, we can't help but be excited! Not just about the Tour of California, but about the fun and new things happening at the cafe! This month we celebrate Valentine's Day, the launch of B3 cycling caps, socks and travel mugs, and 2 new cornerstone vendors!
We recently partnered with Muse gelato, a locally-owned company, who creates smooth, creamy and delicious Italian-style gelato! They use organic and local ingredients wherever they can, and the highest quality ingredients. We will be unveiling flavors such as chocolate merlot, strawberry champagne, vanilla with red hots and other fun and fresh flavor combinations in the coming months!
Our other new vendor is Sun Orchard, based out of Haines City. We are proud to carry their orange juice and raspberry decaffeinated iced tea. Come on by and taste the difference!
We are also revisiting a customer-favorite soup this month: Roasted Tomato and Red Pepper Bisque! This tasty soup is perfect for the cooler weather....try pairing it with a grilled cheese sandwich!
Check out the new art from Rustin Robinson, our local artist! New pieces have been making their way into the cafe as other pieces are selling. Make sure you stop by to see his art as this is the last month of his display. Thank you for appreciating our local artists as much as we do!

Tour of California
Watch it live at B3!
The largest cycling event in America, the 2009 Amgen Tour of California, is this month! It is a Tour de France-style road race presented by AEG that challenges the world's top professional cycling teams to compete along a demanding, recently expanded, 750-mile course from Sacramento to Escondido from February 14-22, 2009.  We are excited to be showing this great race live at B3 on our 42" flat screen TV. While you are here, enjoy the sandwich that everyone is raving about: the "Tour of California"! It is made with hummus, avocado, provolone, turkey (optional) and fresh veggies on our hearty 7-grain bread. Or come and sip one of our featured California beers and wines as you watch Lance Armstrong and some of the best cyclists in the world race down the West Coast. If you came to the cafe during the live coverage of the Tour de France last summer you know what great time it can be! Watch the TOC LIVE at B3!

B3 Travel Mugs are in - Save Some Money and Go Green!
We now have Bikes, Beans and Bordeaux stainless steel travel mugs. We think they look cool...but we really like the idea of refilling them and not throwing away paper cups (even though ours are eco-friendly). So here is the bonus plan, buy a travel mug for $12.99 and we'll refill it with our Jittery Joe's brewed coffee for $0.99 as long as you own the mug! |

February Beer,Wine and Sangria...
West Coast Style!
This month we bring in some great West Coast beers and wines. We thought it would be the perfect compliment to watching the Tour of California to highlight some of California's finest wineries and breweries. On the beer side,  we have Sierra Nevada Wheat Beer, a tasty light bodied beer that goes great with a twist of orange or lemon. We also have Stone Brewery Pale Ale a robust full flavored beer with a delicate hop aroma. For those looking for something a little on the darker side (OK, on the really dark side) we'll have Anchor Porter. Anchor Porter is a unique dark brew with an intense flavor and a rich creamy head. For you wine lovers, we'll have plenty for you, too. We'll have our first organic wine, a tasty Chardonnay by Sterling. Another first for B3 this month is a Zinfandel by Rosenblum Cellars. Along with those we will also feature a Merlot by Echelon and a top notch Pinot Noir by Taz. By popular demand we also are bringing back our organic sangria!

Live Acoustic Music: Saturday, February 21st at 7:30 PM  They're baaaaaack...and we are glad to have them: Dennis, Jeff and Bari! At 7:30 PM, prepare to be wowed by this talented acoustic trio. Their set covers the musical spectrum: gospel, country, folk, funk and pop with an emphasis on harmony and a unique blend of instruments including guitar, bass guitar, slide guitar, banjo, mandolin, accordion, bongos, cajon (a wooden box drum), African drum and a variety of other percussion instruments. You don't want to miss them, so get here early for a great seat. |

 You have been requesting this one for months and it is finally here. Join us as we show the comedy classic, Pee Wee's Big Adventure. The story: The love of Pee-wee Herman's life is his bicycle. When it is stolen, he is sent on a wild cross country adventure after a fortune teller tells him his bicycle is in the basement of the Alamo. Along the way, Pee-wee encounters an escaped convict, a waitress with wanderlust and a jealous boyfriend, and a mysterious female truck driver.

There will be rides for everyone ranging from 20 miles, 50 miles, 70 miles and a full Century. We're looking for team captains for all distances!
If you are looking to get in some training miles, we'll be riding on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30AM from the Cafe to Eagle Circle in Deer Run for a few laps and then back to the Cafe.
