B-Come a Legend September Winner!
This month we don't congratulate an individual we congratulate one of our favorite organizations, Team in Training. These guys and girls work hard to train for a new sport/event and raise money for a great cause at the same time. This month we honor them with a yummy flatbread named in their honor, "The TNT". It features grilled chicken, black olives, fresh mozzarella cheese, diced red onions and vine ripe tomatoes with a tasty mandarin ginger oil base served on our delicious baked flatbread.
Thanks to everyone who submitted an entry - keep them coming! Don't forget, you can email your entries to us to:

Menu Updates Everyone loved our Olympic themed cookies last month. We decided since football season is upon us that we would show a little love to our local universities.

We also added a delicious new smoothie named after our famous sandwich: the SAG Stop. This smoothie is a delicious blend of organic peanut butter, bananas, fat free vanilla yogurt, milk and honey.
| Greetings!
Summer has come and gone, vacations are over, the kids are back in school and now life is slowly returning to normal. Fret not, we'll do our best to keep life fun and entertaining at B3. We have several exciting events planned for this month including a new artist showing, live music and our first ever movie night!
We'll also be introducing some new items to our menu. To celebrate the last major stage race on the 2008 cycling calendar, the Vuelta a Espana, we added some delicious Spanish wines and a new selection of craft brewed beers.
Last but not least, we want to give you an update on Darrell's progress. He is feeling much better and getting around really well on his crutches. In fact he has added a few hours at the cafe on the weekends! You can see him wheeling around on his stool behind the counter as he takes orders at lunch. Thanks again for all the kind words and support.
Keep reading for more updates and a tasty surprise at the end of the newsletter! |
Movie Night at B3!
Featuring: "American Flyers"
Thursday, September 11th at 7:30PM
Come see the movie that almost put bike racing on the map here in the US. "American Flyers" focuses on the Sommers brothers, Marcus (Kevin Costner) and David (David Grant). The brothers grew up sharing a love for bikes and bike racing. After their father died from a cerebral aneurysm, Marcus left their St. Louis home and moved to Wisconsin to actively pursue a career in sports medicine, leaving David and their mother alone. Six months later, Marcus returns home and invites David to join him in a bike race through the Rockies called, "The Hell of the West." David agrees, and they are joined by Marcus' girlfriend Sarah (Rae Dawn Chong) and a plucky hitchhiker played by Alexandra Paul.
As the drama and tension of the grueling race mounts, it begins to become obvious that one of the brothers has inherited the medical condition that killed their father. While going through the training and racing together, each of them begins to fear the ailment might strike. Will they be able to live long enough to finish the race? Better come and find out! Did we mention its FREE! |
Vuelta a Espana
Wine and Beer Selection
First held in 1935, and annually since 1955, the Tour of Spain (also known as the Vuelta a Espana) runs for three weeks in a changing route across Spain. The inaugural event saw only 50 entrants face a 3,411 km (2,119 mi.) course over 14 stages, averaging over 240km (149 mi.) per stage. It was inspired by the success of the Tours in France and Italy, and the boost they brought to the circulations of their sponsoring newspapers (L'Auto and La Gazzetta dello Sport respectively); Juan Pujol of the daily Informaciones instigated the race to increase his circulation. This month we feature three wonderful wines from Spain: Marques De Grinon, Marques de Riscal Tempranillo and Montecillo Rioja Blanco.
Try the Tour of Spain without a bike! Sample each of our Spanish wines for only $10
There are not many readily available Spanish beers so we came up with the next best thing. How about a beer named after a famous mountain range in the Andalusia region of Spain? This month we feature three beers from Sierra Nevada Brewing Company based out of Chico, California. Today, the Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. is considered the premier craft brewery in the United States. So come in and try their Stout, Anniversary Ale or Summerfest Lager.

New Local Artist for September and October
Roger Huder first picked up a camera in college. He was helping a friend who was writing an article for the Florida Magazine, which used to be a part of the Sentinel. His first photos were published with the article. Through that experience he learned that photography provided a means of expressions and refuge. He went on to spend twenty-six years on the Orlando Fire Department but he always returned to photography through the years. Now retired and with sons finished with college, he is pursuing his interest in photography as both vocation and ad vocation.
Come meet Roger and see his amazing work Saturday September 6th at 7:00. Great music along with food and drink specials. |

You asked for more desserts and we couldn't agree more. Starting in September we will be adding Vanilla Gelato to our menu! Or how about just plain ole gelato served in a bowl? Come on in and try your favorite combination. We are here to serve you! |
