B-Come a Legend Contest Winner!
This month we congratulate Darrell P. for bringing some West Coast influence to the East Coast. Many of you know Darrell as a long-time elite mountain biker, road cyclist and financial guru. His creation is called the "California". This is one big and tasty sandwich including a 1/4 pound of turkey slices surrounded by veggies, hummus and provolone cheese topped with a dash of salt & pepper and served up on two slices of toasted multi-grain bread.
Thanks to everyone who submitted an entry - keep them coming! Don't forget, you can email your entries to us to:

| Cornerstone Vendor:
Olde Hearth Bread Company
Olde Hearth Bread Company is a local baker that has been serving Central Florida for over eight years. They take pride in the quality of their breads and pastries, using natural yeast starters and no preservatives. All of their products are baked fresh daily in their Llopis (yo-pis) or Pavailler ovens (a modern day version of the authentic ovens found in the old abbeys of France, Italy and Spain) and shaped by hand. The results yield beautifully shaped breads with a hearty, crisp crust, moist interior and a robust flavor that characterizes true European Artisan breads.
At B3, you'll experience Olde Hearth's products via the Flatbreads, ciabatta bread, lavash, croissants, oatmeal cookies and granola. Come on in and taste the difference!

| Greetings!
July was a great month at B3! Having cyclists, old fans and new-found fans watching the Tour on the flat screen TV while drinking and dining is what we envisioned when we came up with the B3 concept several years ago. Sunday's final stage of the Tour hosted a full cafe of fans cheering their favorite sprinters on to Champs Élysées while enjoying mimosas. It was beautiful!
On another note, as most of you know, Darrell was hit by car that ran a red light while training with some friends on July 12th. This resulted in a fractured pelvis and 7 days in the hospital. However, after the insertion of a few plates and several screws, Darrell is home resting and on the road to recovery. A very special thanks to all for the cards, calls and visits. While Darrell has been unable to work at the Cafe, friends and family have been filling in his shifts. We are at a loss for words to express our gratitude to all of you for your hard work, kindness and generosity.
Keep reading for more updates and a tasty surprise at the end of the newsletter! |

Beer and Wine for August - German TwistAugust continues the HOT Florida summer, but don't sweat it, B3 has plenty of things to keep you cooled off. Come in this month and try Chateau de Montfort, a beautiful French wine. It has abundant fruit and honey flavors bound together in this 100% Chenin Blanc, with just the right amount of sweetness and acidity (If you like Rieslings you will love this wine).
We'll also be featuring several German beers this month in honor of the Deutschland Tour (Tour of Germany). The Deutschland Tour has become a huge success after becoming part of the UCI ProTour, and is set to become one of the truly great stage races in professional cycling. It offers 9 days of challenging racing on every kind of terrain. With this Tour in mind we are featuring three very different German beers for your enjoyment this month: Beck's Premium Light Pilsner, St. Pauli Girl Lager, and Warsteiner Dunkel. After numerous requests, and a few pleads, we will continue to carry Shiner Bock and the Terrapin Beers for another month!
