 It's Darrell's Birthday Month...
Let's celebrate
with a special!

Darrell is as passionate about beer as he is about cycling.  So he decided to tie the two together a create a special deal for the month of July.  Any day that a member of the American-based teams  (Garmin-Chipolte or Team Columbia-High Road) score a stage win in the Tour de France there will be $1.00 off Orlando Brewing bottles for that entire day!

New Artist of the Month

Local photographer, Tom Benitez, brings his artistic touch to B3 for display during July and August.  Tom is a long time Central Florida resident and has been a photojournalist for over 18 years.  He has been featured in several art shows - most recently in Mount Dora.

We will be hosting an Open House on Friday, July 11, 2008 starting at 7:00 PM.  Not only will you have the opportunity to meet Tom in person, but you can indulge in HAPPY HOUR ($1 off beer, wine and Lite Bites) with your friends.  And to top all these festivities off, we are excited to announce that Adam Graney will be our guest DJ!  Adam will be spinning lounge tunes to make this Happy Hour a not-to-miss event.

This month we congratulate Katie K. for creating a tasty flat bread that surely will make your lips smile and your tongue happy.  Katie works for the City of Orlando helping to spread the word about  being green and nice to the beautiful lakes in our City. The "Orlando Flat bread" is a tasty combination of Brie Cheese, fresh pears, ham and olive oil on a crispy toasted flat bread.

Le Tour de France

Are you bummed that the dollar is weak and you had to put your trip to watch the Tour on hold?  Have you been training hard, putting in big miles on the road and a pro team hasn't called asking you to fill their final Tour roster spot?  Fret not, you can catch Le Tour twice daily at B3!  It is almost as good as being there and not nearly as difficult as climbing the Alps.

Every day, starting with the prologue on July 5th until the last day on July 27th, watch the Tour live from 8:00 AM until 11:30 AM (no audio) and every night at 8 PM watch the recap broadcast with audio featuring Phil Ligget, Paul Sherwin and Bob Roll.

2008 tour route

While you are watching the tour, enjoy some fantastic wines from France.  We'll be featuring several red and white Bordeauxs plus a nice, light Pinot Blanc.  If wine is not your pleasure we will also be featuring several beers from the regions of famous tour riders.  Try a Chimay from Belgium, a Paulaner from Germany, or Terrapin Rye Pale Ale from our own backyard, Athens, Georgia.  Finally, no Tour de France beer selection would be complete without including one of seven-time Tour de France champion Lance Armstrong's favorite beers, Shiner Bock.

Cartoon Saturday: July 5th!

The first Retro-Cartoon Saturday last month was a blast!  And we expect this one to be just as fun.  On July 5th we'll be showing the hilarious antics of our little blue friends, the Smurfs starting at 9:30 AM.
