Housewares Show 2008 - Welcome to CHICAGO

Welcome to Chicago.  Although I grew up in North Carolina and spend a lot of my time in Manhattan, I live in Chicago.  And, I love Chicago!eak_pepper

It it so nice to be able to welcome you and the rest of the Housewares industry to my adopted town.  I love the food, the food stores, the shopping, the eating and the drinking that Chicago has to offer.  So, in addition to previewing my fun new gift line of Warning Girls GrillingTM products, I am including a few lists of my favorite places to eat, drink and shop in Chicago.  Come see all my new products at the Harold booth, #S1450, and I'll give you one of my new Warning Girls GrillingTM baseball hats so you can get out there and promote the movement.

I have a limited number of hats to give away, so come early and give me the secret password:  I'm saucy, smokin' and hot!

Watch out World, it's Girls Grilling & We're Saucy, Smokin' and HotTM!

Here is a little information on Warning Girls Grilling: Saucy, Smokin' and Hot!TM  First I created www.GirlsattheGrill.com in 2001 to get women to join in the fun of outdoor grilling.  And, slowly but surely women across America have taken their ground at the grill.  They are doing it alone, doing it together, and sharing the fun with the men in their lives!  In the past five years, women grilling has increased nearly 50%.  So it's time for all the Girl Grillers out there to announce themselves to the world with the Warning Girls GrillingTM Collection!  The fun-loving logo is the centerpiece of the line and it is designed to make you stop and take notice.  The octagonal shaped icon is hot pink and white, and printed on a black background.

I created the Warning Girls GrillingTM Collection for the culinary gift giver - and to gift to yourself.  The Collection includes a Perfect-FitTM Apron, a baseball hat with adjustable strap and a Coffee and BBQ Sauce Basting Mug.  All the items are perfect to buy for yourself to announce your grilling prowess or to purchase for your favorite grill friends!  The Collection will retail for between $8.00 - $25.00.

I am always looking for a little gift that will give my friends a smile and something practical that they will use.  It's perfect as an everyday gift or as a part of a grilling basket.  The apron and baseball hat are conversation starters.  They are perfect for a backyard cook-out or to wear at any competition barbecue - - - and a great way to keep those "he grills, she grills" fires burning!  The Coffee and BBQ Basting Mug is big enough to hold a mess of barbecue sauce - - - everyone I know carries a mug full of sauce out to the grill.  It's the perfect size for sauces and is great for the morning joe as well!  Besides, I come from a family of coffee mug collectors, so I had to make one for all the great girl grillers in my family!

Think about promoting these items for party favors and gifts - either singly or as a collection - for Girls Night Out parties, cookouts, Dinner clubs, Showers, Book Clubs, grab bags and office gifts.

The Warning Girls GrillingTM Collection is distributed along with the rest of the Grill FriendsTM and Kitchen FriendsTM lines by HIC (Harold Import Co.)
