Raising Healthy Teens
KarynGordon

Monday April 14, 2008

7:00 - 9:00 p.m.

Club Italia, 2525 Montrose Rd, Niagara Falls

The Niagara Region is hosting a workshop for parents on teen overindulgence. The featured speaker, Dr. Karyn Gordon, is one of Canada's leading authorities on understanding youth and their families. She has spoken to more than 200,000 youth, parents, counsellors, teachers, marketers and managers across North America.

The workshop will empower parents to bring wellness into their life by tackling the tough topic of overindulgence. Many teens are living in a 'buy now, pay later' culture which is impacting their decision making, priority setting and eating habits.

For more information or to register for this free workshop, please visit the Niagara Region website or call 905-688-8248 ext. 7156.
