Dear Chamber Member,

We hope you are enjoying the glorious fall weather in Northern New Mexico. Here at Santa Fe Services Inc. we are revving up for the holidays and the new year. Santa Fe Services has been a successful, locally owned staffing agency  in the Santa Fe area for over twenty years. We are in fact the first employment agency  to establish itself here and are considered by our happy and loyal clientele to be the best. We take pride in our personal, one-on-one approach to fulfilling your personnel needs whether they are short-term temporary placements, temp-to-hire or permanent.

SFS Temps Get Perm Offers
Our temporary staff are frequently offered permanent employment by our clients.  Why?  Because they were all pre-screened before being matched with our clients to ensure the very best fit for their particular positions.  Our pre-screening process is comprehensive and includes a complete application with references, a face-to-face interview and a New Mexico State background check.  We take the time to get to know our applicants.  We believe a respectful approach to hiring aids in the creation of mutually beneficial relationships for ourselves, our clients and our employees.

State Unemployment Rate Drops
The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions reported on Friday that the State Unemployment Rate dropped to 4.0% in September, down from 4.6%.  The unpredicted drop in the rate is a good sign for the State's economy, which continues to fare better than the national economy.  For complete analysis, please follow this link.

In Santa Fe, approximately 300 employees found themselves unemployed, due to forecasted seasonal layoffs, largely in the hospitality industry.  Retail employers should pick up some of those employees over the holiday season, however unemployment is expected to rise across the state.  In spite of the soft economy, the labor market for experienced administrative & professional personnel
remains tight.

If downsizing is a reality for your business, consider using temporary employees on an as-needed, project-oriented basis to fulfill only the most essential duties of a former fulltime position.
A Cost-Saving Alternative
All of our staffing services include advertising, recruitment, screening and pre-employment testing, new hire processing and compliance, payroll, tax, withholding and quarterly filing, worker's compensation and general liability insurance.  For pennies on the dollar, we take care of every step in the complicated human resources process.

For a list of satisfied, local clients, please email or call us today.  We look forward to working with you.
