Post-Hurricane Ike Communications
Here is some important information that will help us stay connected and be of support to one another during the recovery from Hurricane Ike:

We have arranged with Allcat Disaster Services to remove the mud from the floor of the nave and other locations on the ground floor of the church as well as several locations in the Middle School. We have also taken steps to ensure that church and school employees compensation is sustained during the recovery period and making sure that our capacity to receive contributions by PayPal via our website is working properly. Regular contributors need to know that we are not able to receive anything in the U.S. mail at this time! Please go to our website www.trinitygalv.org tomorrow for a message about contributions.

According to initial reports I have received, Grace Church, St. Augustine's, and William Temple came through the storm with very little damage. St. Vincent's had some serious damage, particularly to the pre-school area of the building.
Once again, I want to encourage everyone to stay in touch using www.e-piphanies.com and stay out of Galveston until public officials tell us it is safe to return. First responders and emergency personnel don't need us in the way. People returning to the island for "look and leave" are slowing down recovery efforts due to increased traffic on I-45.
