Foyers Season Finale Aboard Seagull II
Sunday Evening, June 1 Seagull II

We have seen a lot of enthusiasm for a joint finale meeting of all the Foyers groups.  Here is what we have planned:

DATE:     Sunday June 1, 2008

TIME:     6:30 to 8:00 pm (The boat will leave at exactly 6:30)

WHAT:   A narrated harbor and ship channel tour aboard the Seagull II (a boat operated by GHF).

BRING:   Whatever you would like to drink (wine is okay) and a "covered dish" (hors d'oeuvre type food).  Paper plates, utensils, cups, etc. will be provided.

COST:   Will be very inexpensive.  They have agreed to do it for a flat fee of $125 for the entire group.  I believe there are about 35 people still active in Foyers.  We will divide the cost.  The boat will hold 49 people.

WHERE:  The boat will depart from the Galveston Yacht Basin.  Please note that this is a change from the usual Pier 21.  The reason for the change is that there is free parking at the Yacht Basin.  The Yacht Basin is at the end of Holiday Drive.

R.S.V.P.:  Let us hear from you!  If you want to, please indicate what you will bring.

Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Jon and Suzette Schultz

Wear your Trinity lapel pin!

By wearing your Trinity lapel pin, you invite others to ask about its significance, thereby providing a natural opportunity to speak about your church and its meaning for your life.  If you do not own a lapel pin, you may purchase one at a cost of $5 in the parish office.  The pin displays the arms of Trinity Church, the same as our banner.

Salvation Army Meals Outreach Welcomes Donations

The Trinity mission outreach to the homeless that cooks and serves dinner at the Salvation Army three Thursdays each month is in need of donations to purchase food.  Three teams of Salvation Army Logoparishioners cook and serve approximately 150 simple meals at an average cost of $1/person.  If you would like to support this important ministry through a donation, please drop a check in the collection plate or bring/mail it to the church office.  BE SURE to note on the memo line that the donation is for the Salvation Army meals!
