DILL

Dill (Anethum graveolens) oil has a peppery/spicy fresh scent that is stimulating, revitalizing and balancing. Dill seeds were reportedly chewed by early Americans during church services to combat hunger pangs.

Dill seed is a very good source of calcium, and a good source of manganese, iron, fiber, and magnesium.

Dill contains two unique types of healing components: monoterpenes, including carvone, limonene, and anethofuran; and flavonoids, including kaempferol and vicenin.

 

Adding dill oil to your own dill dip heightens the flavors.

Our oil blending class was so popular and so much fun we will be offering it again this month. We will be offering door prizes and give aways, plus you get to take home your very own oil blend. Did you know that you can use oils to help deal with emotions and food issues? By rubbing dill oil on your wrist, you can curb sugar cravings and rubbing and diffusing grapefruit oil can give you a sense of fullness. Oils are a great way to heal and help with depression, anxiety, abuse and addictions. Want to use oils to quit smoking? Come to our oil blending class and learn how. We have lots of knowledge and know how to get you on the healing path of wellness.

Also, I will be heading to Texas mid April to July and I am looking for a compatible driving buddy/Abigail helper. I plan to make a 2 day stop in Colorado on my way down. I will pay all expenses, but you will need to arrange your own paid flight home. This will be a fun trip for someone interested in a driving trip to Texas. Young Living Oils
Are you interested in essential oils? Is there a particular ailment that you would like to address and heal with oils? Please join Sheila Sherman and Tonya Dahl for an informative course on oil blending and how to blend specific oils for healing. Make up a blend and take home a sample bottle for your very own.

We will be offering the Energy Meridian Scan for quick oil recommendations and we will also have our Reference Guide to Essential Oils to reference more in depth and major ailments such as impotency, depression, emotional trauma, ear infections, menopause, acne, etc and more.

Oil blends are great for healing wounds, pain, ailments and emotional healing too. Class size is limited due to the information and one on one training. Please call to register.

Cost is $27, includes an Energy Meridian Scan and sample oil blend. Class held at Journey of Health.

Cherry Chocolate Milkshake

(serves 2....or 1 ;] )


2 fudge schmalls(recipe below)

1 frozen banana

1 cup frozen cherries

6 cubes frozen coconut milk

1/4-1/2 cup coconut milk (or other non dairy creamy milk-help/soy vanilla)

 

Directions:

Blend in a blender until creamy. Add extra cherries and sprinkle with cocoa-nibs.

Enjoy!

  

 

Fudge Balls

(Adapted from ChocolateCoveredKatie!)

 

1/2 cup pecans

1/2 cup walnuts

1 1/3 cup pitted dates

1 tsp. vanilla

4 TB cocoa powder

 

Blend all ingredients in food processor until combined and somewhat crumbly/moist.

Form into schmalls and store in fridge/freezer.


My new favorite love is knitting. Do we have any knitters out there? I would love some tips and support. I want to learn how to make some raw food knitting toys for Abigail.

Be sure to talk to Cody about the Meridian Scan while you are in the store. It only takes 10-15 minutes and you will be amazed with the results and the print out! It is an inexpensive way to keep your health on track if you are short on time and cash!
