¹⁸ In my opinion whatever we may have to go through now is less than nothing compared with the magnificent future God has planned for us. The whole creation is on tiptoe to see the wonderful sight of the sons of God coming into their own. The world of creation cannot as yet see reality, not because it chooses to be blind, but because in God's purpose it has been so limited - yet it has been given hope. And the hope is that in the end the whole of created life will be rescued from the tyranny of change and decay, and have its share in that magnificent liberty which can only belong to the children of God! 
 

We all have come into this world that is full of corruption which was released through the actions of that original fall in the Garden of Eden at the beginning of earth time as we know it; yet we did not arrive here with the purpose or design from God that we were to partake of its ever increasing decay and deplorable influences due to that fall in the Garden. But rather, to exude our true nature from the Divine Creator and Father of us all. But by reasons of wicked influences camouflaged under the garments innocently displayed through unsuspecting parents, teachers, and other peers who have been duped by the same exposures of evil at their conception in this world that they now mentor the same before us; therefore, we are encouraged to leave our authentic divine self behind and take on a false one. Which is why we needed saving.

Can you imagine how tragic it is for a creature made in the very likeness of God to proceed through this life, ever learning and believing that it is something other than what it came here to be? If we consider the world of animals, birds, insects, fish, or even the plant life on this planet; we cannot find any evidence where they ever independently cultivated a false self, or believe that they are anything other than what the Creator intended them to be. Are we as humans an exception to God's original intentions for who we are to be according to His original design and purpose? In other words, you and I didn't continue to unfold as God determined, in the same way we did in those months within our mother's womb. Safely there in our mother's womb we were developing perfectly without a spec of separation from the One we really came from or who we were to be.

Yet, following the path of a developing embryo we were greeted by parents, culture, and a host of well-meaning people representing religious, educational, and even commercial interests. And it is here where they held us up in their arms and declared we will now take over from here and fashion them to our liking. As you and I became emerged in the spirit of the world at birth, we began a journey of acquiring an identity that's virtually the opposite of who God intended for us to be. It is here that we learn who I am is what I have. Therefore, we believe if I am a person who does not have anything then I am of no value to myself or to others. In other words, the more things that I have the more important I become. I suppose this is why we sacrifice the best things of life while we consume all our time on earth collecting as much as we can. Such a terrible influence that is changing us from who we should be 
according to God's wonderful design. 

Another deplorable influence is to believe who I am is what I do. Through this deceptive influence we learn that what we do and how well we do it can be used to define each of us in a favorable way that brings us seemingly great rewards no matter the cost. Therefore, we learn the dog-eat-dog methodology of aggressive behavior that says, I will do it better and sooner than you can do it. Why? So I might receive the prize of course. To come in second, is to come in last place! Winning is everything. With each worldly influence we lose sight of who we were meant to be through love, even though within our hearts we recognize something that our minds have failed to see. Here lies the depravity of a carnal mind and it must be renewed to God's Word, otherwise it wars against the truth and will remain separated from that Truth. 

Again we can see another diabolical influence that the spirit of the world is shaping us to become, that otherwise, from the beginning we were meant to influence the world through being a perfect created child of God. This wrong influence forces us to believe that who I am is what others think of me. What I mean by this is, that we are constantly hearing messages attempting to convince us that our self-worth comes from how people observe us or its based on their opinions of us. If other people disapprove us, and we allow their opinions to define us, then you and I will continually modify or adjust ourselves and even shrink our divine purpose to match that image posed to us by those folks. When approval-seeking becomes the guiding principle for our lives, we will find it virtually impossible to achieve who we were meant to be in Christ.

It is here that we are in need of a Savior, not because you and I were flawed in the beginning by the Creator; but because of the devilish influences to which you and I have now evolved. Therefore, the flesh could not remain the treasure for which our Father now pursues. For it had evolved into what it was not ever meant to become. This is why it will soon enough return back to the dust of the earth from which was used to shape the outward man in the Hands of the God of all things. And once this earth suit has been cast off it shall reveal clearly to what treasure lies beneath, if any at all. How can this happen you say? The spiritual path will wreck the body and afterwards restore it to health if it should call upon Him that made all things for His purposes. That spiritual path will undeniably destroy the current house in order to unearth the treasure buried somewhere inside and with that treasure will build it better than before. 

Here is where this treasure evolves from deep inside a person that has been lost; it comes from the Seed of the Word of the living God. If that Seed is planted in the spirit of the mind, it will grow under a new influence that shall produce a new man in Christ. If that mind is awakened to what the heart and soul already knows from the beginning, then here you will witness a life that influences this world with the power and treasures of God. Your mind does not know the way to journey through this life successfully as a true son or daughter of God if all we have known is this worlds influences and that is the case for all of us that have been born here...but your heart and mine has already been there. And your spirit has never left it. If we should be so intent with our "will" to 
renew the mind in the Word of God, we shall discover that there are treasures in these earthen vessels that until that awakened moment through God's Word, was amazingly unknown to any of us. Welcome home!
