I h
ave heard a great many preachers over the years describe how God's watchful eye keeps watch over our lives to see if we have done anything wrong. And should there be any infraction; and generally there is always something that we fail to comply with at some point. In addition, when I picture God as being this lofty and holy One who stands and looks from His throne to find anything that I may be doing wrong; it causes me to grow mistakenly accustom to Him as being an unreasonable and demanding Father who is always disappointed with me because I do so much wrong.

There are many religious brands who confess Jesus as Lord that leave its participants confined to the idea through its many teachings that they are pitiful beings who aren't worth much. They leave the impression that we are merely just like worms and there is nothing good about us at all. No wonder people find religion such a place to run from rather than to. These notions that are taught in such error filled interpretations of Scripture, give little comfort if any for the average person who comes to meet a God that is described in such a poor manner. Who would want to know God much less worship Him if this is His true nature? I certainly wouldn't! Thank God this is not who He is!

Pastor Kim"Walking In the Love of God"

Col 3:12-15
12 Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.13 Make allowance for each other's faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.14 Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony.15 And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.

I believe today more than ever we as a believer should be walking in the love of God. In the scriptures you have just read it talks about making allowance for each others faults and forgiving others, which is walking in love. You may say I don't know how? The word tells us here that when you clothe yourself in love that it binds us together in harmony. You have to choose to love beyond your anger, hurt disappointment and pain. Many times this is not easy because we are more interested in our own feelings. There will be a time in your life that you have to choose to let the offense go. It is not worth the time and energy that you have given it to continue to be angry and eventually finding yourself hating someone.

Christians should live in peace. To live in peace does not mean that suddenly all differences in opinion are eliminated, but it does require that loving Christians work together despite their differences. Such love is not a feeling, but a decision to meet others' needs. When you live in love it leads to peace between individuals. Do problems in your relationships with other Christians cause open conflicts or mutual silence? Consider what you can do to heal those relationships with love. Be willing to take the first step. This process begins in your own heart. Your decision is not based on if they deserve it; it is based on you doing the right thing.

Remember you are called to live in peace!
My Prayer For Today...

My dearest friend and Lord!

Thank you for always keeping Your eyes on me for good and not for bad. I am comforted to know that You Lord had me in mind from the very beginning to lavish me with Your very best. Your Word teaches that Your thoughts towards me, they are good and not for evil. Therefore, my soul rejoices over the love that You have clearly shown to me. You have placed a coat of honor upon my shoulders and slid Your signet ring upon my finger. What royalty You have shown this orphan that You now call a son or a daughter.

How can I ever express the gladness of my heart towards You that has wonderfully saved me from all destruction? Yes! I shall be found in my Father's house among those who break out with vibrant singing and the testimony of Your greatness. You are my King, and none holds that place in my heart but You. Amen!

Thank You! My blessed King!
