In light of all the mud-slinging that is going on in this election year I have come to notice something that is very blatant and unapologetic by both the media, the party lines and the candidates themselves who are running for the presidency of the United States of America. That is the many lies that are being fabricated to discredit the other. They are as numerous as the stars; at least trying to keep up with them is as difficult as trying to count the stars above.

 

Our lesson today is about the collision of two worlds or between two positions of what truth is. There can only be one truth to any given problem or equation of life. There is always the right side and there is the wrong side. The wrong side must concede to the real truth in the end and therefore, reveal that it represents that of being the counterfeit or better described as the lie. That being said, it is much harder to recognize the truth unless you are in the truth. To be in the truth can only exist if it is in fact the truth to begin with. So what is truth? It seems Pilate made that very same statement.
