THE ULTIMATE KITCHEN SHOWDOWN | April 28, 2010
Dear BakeSpace Member, It's David versus Goliath... but this case YOU can determine the outcome
The underdog has been fighting valiantly throughout the
annals of history. David v. Goliath, Rocky v. Appolllo Creed, Rocky &
Bullwinkle v. Boris and Natash and now...
BakeSpace v Twitter.
Our grassroots startup has been nominated for a 2010
Webby Award in the super-competitive Social Networking category. The Webby is
like the Oscar, and it's a big deal for a grassroots site like BakeSpace. In our fight for the Webby we're going head-to-head with
some of the Web's largest sites (including Twitter and Digg.com) to win both
the "Judges Award" and the "People Voice Award," which is
voted on by the public. So, if you believe in our community (or simply have a
soft spot in your heart for the underdog), please take a minute of your day and
help us win by casting a simple vote here! Voting ends in 24 hours!
If we win the People's Voice Award this year, we pledge to give away 30 Kitchenaid 3-cup Food Processors and two KitchenAid Stand Mixers within 30 days of being named the People's Voice winner! The Lucky winners will be selected at random from daily giveaways on BakeSpace.
On
behalf of our small team here at BakeSpace, thanks for
your support! Getting your vote
and helping to spread the
word can make all the difference in the world. - Babette
