| READY? OR NOT

Nu? How was it? Well, as the mother of
twin girls wrote in her evaluation of the weeklong Bnai Mitzvah Family Camp, piloted for the first time with a core group of
families, in late August:
We could not have had this breakthrough
without you - there are no comparable resources within our shul. I feel
through the various group activities and individual conversations we now have a framework for the process --
the start of a process that will lead not only to a deeply satisfying
Bat Mitzvah celebration, but will no doubt deepen our commitment and
love of Judaism and connection to the Jewish people.

AND A CAMEO APPEARANCE IN...
Cool
Jew: The Ultimate Guide for Every Member of the Tribe by award-winning
journalist Lisa Alcalay Klug hits on everything that the 21st century
Jew - or the avid admirer of the tribe - needs to survive.
From
identity, rituals, clothing, and cuisine, to holidays, spirituality,
diversity, and language, Cool Jew is up on the hippest forms of Jewish
cultural and creative expression including the cutting-edge work of
Jewish Milestones!KLUG SAYS: "Jewish Milestones is a terrific example of Heebster ingenuity and innovation. They recognized a trend of weddings, bar mitzvahs and other lifecycle events held outside established synagogue frameworks. They invest time and attention to support fellow Jews in these milestones and call upon others to do the same. If you're going to have a milestone--and poo, poo, poo, you should live so long--they help infuse it with beauty and meaning."
