Annual Clean and Green Community-Wide Clean-Up

April 17-24, 2010

This year's annual City of Duluth Clean & Green community-wide clean-up effort will be held throughout Earth Day Week beginning April 17. We'll cap the efforts to clean up the city with our annual Lakewalk clean up on Saturday, April 24th from 10:00 a.m. to noon.

We invite community members, civic organizations and businesses to join us during this week of community pride. Our goal is to have hundreds of citizens working together in our parks, neighborhoods, business districts and along the waterfront, so that by the end of the week our city will be spruced up for another summer season.

If interested we would appreciate having you let us know if your group will be participate this year. Please call Amy Norris, Parks and Recreation Department at 730-4312 [email protected] or Tom Kasper, Park Maintenance at 730-4490 and let them know you are interested in participating. An information packet will then be sent to you with details of the clean up and instructions on where to pick up garbage bags.

Thank you for your interest in making Duluth "Clean & Green". Together we can make a difference in our community
