On Behalf of James W. Stewart, Commissioner of the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services, and Mellie Randall, Director of the DBHDS Office of Substance Abuse Services *****************************************************************************************************
DBHDS must prepare a report to the Governor that "identifies all public and private organizations that may raise and disburse funds for substance abuse recovery support services in Virginia." This request has been sent to many community providers of SA recovery support services and to the CSB/BHA executive directors and SA directors.
To prepare a comprehensive report, we need your help in distributing the Commissioner's the information. Please note that the "requested information" is only the name and contact information of the identified organizations. Please note, too, that the memo includes a link to the online tool to be used in supplying the requested information and requests replies by September 19th.
"DBHDS will need to receive your data no later than September 19th. Since turn-around time to prepare the report is very short, DBHDS has created an online tool to assist in the collection of this information, available at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/DBHDSHB271.
Please access this link directly (or copy it into your browser) to enter the name and contact information of each of the organizations you have identified." (Commissioner Stewart)
