Job Opening: Executive Assistant, VOCAL
***********************************
VOCAL, a peer-run statewide mental health advocacy organization, is hiring an executive assistant.
This person will be responsible for working with the executive director completing tasks of the executive office in Charlottesville.
 
Duties include, but are not limited to: bookkeeping, benefits administration, and human resources.

This will initially be a three month contract position with no benefits, with the potential for longer term employment. Pay will be commensurate with experience and budget constraints. 20-30 hours per week.

Qualifications: lived experience as a mental health consumer, experience with bookkeeping, self-starter and quick learner. Must be good with numbers, organized, and have good communication skills.

Assistance Contractor

VOCAL, a peer-run statewide mental health advocacy organization, is hiring a non-profit governance and operations technical assistance contractor for its non-profit management assistance program. This person will be available to consult with peer-run programs throughout Virginia, providing assistance in all matters of non-profit management, board governance, and data collection.

This will initially be a three month contract position with no benefits, with the potential for long term employment. Pay will be commensurate with experience and within budget constraints. 20-30 hours per week.
