SENIOR HOME SALE QUESTIONS FOR SASH

PROVIDER'S QUESTION

Does SASH buy mobile homes?

THE SASH TEAM'S ANSWER:

Yes, we do! We have purchased mobile homes worth
$7,000 to $97,000 and everything in between. We can
also purchase homes in senior parks, as SASH
obtains special permission to buy without being a
resident.
Here's what is important to know
about
mobile homes and manufactured homes. If the client
does not also own the land under the home (they
pay space rent), SASH must buy the home at a more
discounted rate than normal "stick-built" homes on
land. This is because mobile homes take longer to
sell, and you can spend more on fixing it up than the
home is actually worth.
All of our senior
clients who have sold their mobile home to us have
been very satisfied with our service and offer price.
Call for details!

SASH provides seniors with a
private, custom-designed, and stress-free sale of their
home.

| Did You Know? |
There are legislative battles being waged in
Washington, California, and many other states over
the future of mobile home parks. Once a popular way
to retire, many seniors considered their move to a
mobile home park to be a sure way to live out a couple
of decades on a fixed income. Meanwhile, the
value of the land under their mobile homes continued
to go up, and developers have been making
handsome offers to the mobile home park owners.
A sale often
means the seniors and their mobile homes are
displaced, and for many, it means a financial dead-
end. Over 25 parks have been closed/sold in this state
recently. If you have senior clients who are
considering a move to a mobile home park,
encourage them to research and know the issues
before they sink their nest egg into a mobile home. It
is an ideal and affordable retirement for many, but it's
also important to know what's at stake in the near
future!
