SENIOR HOME SALE QUESTIONS FOR PENNY

PROVIDER'S QUESTION

"How can people be sure that SASH will not take
advantage of the senior when SASH buys their
home? There are so many scammers out there, and
seniors are so vulnerable."

PENNY'S ANSWER:

"The SASH Program's 3 Core Values are Integrity,
Respect, and Service. We stand by our commitment
to integrity in every purchase of a senior's home. To
this end, we have 9 protections in place that ensure
our senior clients are not taken advantage of. These
are: 1) SASH is a Better Business Bureau
Accredited Business. 2) SASH is accountable to
hundreds of senior providers locally. 3) We allow
our clients and their families to provide written
evaluations of our service after each purchase. 4)
SASH has a strict "No-Pressure" policy when making
offers on homes. 5) We use an Addendum to our
paperwork that was drawn up by an elder attorney to
protect seniors in the sale. 6) We have a Full
Disclosure Policy of what a senior should know in
selling their home to us. 7) SASH has a 12-part
Code of Ethics, which we show our clients and strictly
adhere to. 8) We give our seniors 7 days to
change their mind after accepting our offer (3 days is
normal). 9) We include family members and
caregivers in the process so that everyone is aware
and informed.
All SASH clients have given
positive, enthusiastic reviews of our service in their
evaluation, and we earned their comments with our
honest and gentle service. Thanks for your
question, and we look forward to serving seniors with
you!"

The "Sandwich Generation" is made up of boomers
between the ages of 45 and 55 who are increasingly
providing care for aging parents and children
simultaneously. 70% of this generation have at least
one living parent, and nearly 4 out of 10 still have
children living with them. This large group of
Americans has representation from all ethnic groups
and socio-economic levels. They have had to adjust
to the emotional, physical, and financial impact of
caring for young and old alike.

Join us at Coffee Time!

Here at the SASH Program, we believe that trust is
paramount in referring senior clients to other
professionals. People are inclined to refer seniors to
those that they know and trust - who are good to their
word and care genuinely about the
senior.
For a senior, receiving poor service in
a time of need can be devastating and traumatic. On
the other hand, quality care and products can be truly
lifesaving. Who do you trust in your circle of
professionals?
We invite you to take a warm
and cheery break from the cold and rain, and join us at
one of our three Coffee Times for senior providers!
These are great environments to have authentic
conversation with other providers, sharing issues,
ideas, events, resources, and even a good story. All
this over delicious hot coffee... You will find
our meeting times in the left column of this e-zine, and
call with any questions. We are looking forward to
meeting
you there!

If you don’t want to receive this e-zine in the future, please send your comments and feedback to me at becky@sashprogram.com, and I'll remove your name from the mailing list. As always, your comments about this e-newsletter are welcome and appreciated. |
