SENIOR HOME SALE QUESTIONS FOR PENNY

PROVIDER'S QUESTION

"What does SASH do if the home is in terrible shape -
with pet urine stains, dry rot, piles of boxes and stuff,
roof leaks, broken appliances, etc? Will SASH still buy
the house from the senior?"

PENNY'S ANSWER:

"The SASH Program will look at every house and
consider every situation. We have purchased many
homes that are not in good condition, and in those
situations, we provide the same level of respect and
care for the senior. Our offer price will reflect the
amount of work we will have to do on the home, but it
will still be fair and honest. Our goal is to provide
an easy home
sale - no matter what the home looks like! Call us
with the details and we'll tell you what we can do."

In a study done between 2002 - 2004 of people age
65 and over, a remarkable number of those age 85
and older reported having "good to excellent health".
Those numbers were 67% for non-Hispanic white,
54% for non-Hispanic black, and 51% for Hispanic.
No wonder this is the fastest-growing segment of our
population!

How Can We Make This E-zine Better?

Here at the SASH Program, we
believe that strong relationships
and frequent communication
between senior providers results
in better care for all seniors in
this region. That's why we've
created this e-zine,
Penny's Espresso: To create a
relevant, practical networking tool
that connects all senior providers
in the Puget Sound area. Send us
your ideas, event notices,
and information. Forward the e-zine to another
provider who might benefit from the resources. Help
us make this the best networking tool it can be.
The SASH Team looks forward to the
opportunity to serve seniors with you!

If you don’t want to receive this e-zine in the future, please send your comments and feedback to me at becky@sashprogram.com, and I'll remove your name from the mailing list. As always, your comments about this e-newsletter are welcome and appreciated. |
