Eastern Portraits
We look to the East for inspiration as we present our first-ever concert of works from South and East Asia, with percussionist Angie Tabor and other special guests. Discover the beauty and brilliance of contemporary composers such as Chen Yi and Jing Ling Tam, as well as traditional folk songs from Japan, China, Thailand, and more. We're especially excited to present the world premiere of our annual commissioned composition: Ethan Sperry's rocking arrangement of the Bollywood hit "Barso Re"! Watch out: We're taking to the stage and letting loose our inner prima donnas!
