This formula is especially suited for use in the days prior to menstruation and during menstruation and can be taken along with herbs that help to inhibit bleeding if person has heavy menses. In some cases, it may be used throughout the month.

Acupuncture & Chinese herbs are highly effective in regulating the menses. For example, if a woman has heavy bleeding, we can balance the body to lessen the amount of bleeding.
