Acanthopanax: for pain of the tendons and tendonitis due to repeated injury, chronic weakness, or inflammation of the tendons.

Chiang-Huo: for pain and arthritis, muscular pain, sciatica, and low back pain which is helped by warmth and worsened by cold and damp weather.

Clerodendron: for pain and arthralgia with hot or swollen joints, skin eruptions, or eczema due to heat, swelling, and inflammation which is worsened by heat and damp weather. For inflamed joints.

Tip: Just leave the cotton in your bottles of Chinese Herbs or add a few cotton balls back in to absorb any moisture. A few years ago, the FDA mandated that herbal companies put an expiration date or manufacturing date on herbal formulas. The companies follow this rule but informed practitioners and consumers that the herbs are still good after the date on the bottle. We have observed that the herbs can last a very long time (over 10 years). This is great news -- you can keep herbs on hand in case any health concerns come up!
