Rachel Wood has been preparing our children at Etz Chaim for their b'nai mitzvah for 25 years. She also teaches our 6th graders as well as manages our SKIP (send a kid to Israel) program. On Friday evening, June 1st, we will be honoring Rachel for all her contributions to Etz Chaim. Read more here. 

Gardening at Etz Chaim- Sunday, April 22nd  

Spring is really coming soon and so is the spring garden clean up at the synagogue this Sunday, April 22, 2012. Read more here.

Our next "Shabbat Chaverim" will be Friday morning, April 27th at 10:00 AM. This program is for young children and a parent/guardian. Read more here.

AIPAC and Etz Chaim Partner for Teen Leadership Workshop- On April 15th twenty-four of our 10th - 12th graders gathered for a six hour leadership training workshop led by two staff people from the Chicago AIPAC office. Read more here.
