51st Annual Purim Service & Carnival-
Sunday, March 20th
purimEtz Chaim is the Purim capital of the world! This year's Purim service will be held on Sunday, March 20th at 10:00 AM. The Purim Carnival, run by our Youth Groups, will take place following services. Don't forget to come in costume and bring your mac 'n cheese groggers.

Rabbi Robin Damsky To Speak at Etz Chaim-

Monday, March 21st

DuPage-Will Hadassah and Congregation Etz Chaim will be hosting Rabbi Robin Damsky at Etz Chaim on Monday, March 21st at 7:00 PM. Rabbi Damsky is the rabbi of West Surburban Temple Har Zion in River Forest. She is devoted to guiding individuals and communities to live ethical lives utilizing faith based teachings. Camp Scholarship Application Forms
An application is required for all campers wishing to receive the OSRUI scholarships from the Youth Committe. Scholarships are awarded for:
Chalutzim-$400.00
Regular Sessions-$300.00
Atid-$100.00
Additional scholarships based on need are available from the Jeremy Bruder Scholarship Fund. Please speak to one of the Rabbis or Anne to apply.

The Golem's Visit to Etz Chaim

On Sunday, February 27th  families gathered to learn a song and hear stories about the Golem and then create their own Golems.These adorable Golems are on display in the library.Come and take a look.

 

In addition, our fourth graders have created their own Golem stories that are on a wall strip outside the computer lab.

 

A lot of fun was had by students and parents as we learned about the Golem.

Dear Synagogue Members,

Thank you so much for buying our book Cooking for PADS!  We sold 64 cookbooks so far a the synagogue, raising $535 for PADS.  In all, we have sold 201 cookbooks so far. We still have a number of books left so if you would like one please email us.You can also buy one at the synagogue gift shop. Once again, thank you so much for helping us raise money for this great organization.
