Professor Liptz is recognized as an outstanding scholar, who is capable of translating complex issues and realities into comprehensible language. Monday, March 21st
DuPage-Will Hadassah and Congregation Etz Chaim will be hosting Rabbi Robin Damsky at Etz Chaim on Monday, March 21st at 7:00 PM. Rabbi Damsky is the rabbi of West Surburban Temple Har Zion in River Forest. She is devoted to guiding individuals and communities to live ethical lives utilizing faith based teachings. Children's Author Stephanie Bloom Visits Congregation Etz Chaim- Sunday, March 13th
Come hear children's author Stephanie Bloom read from her award winning books, "A Place to Grow" and " The Drummer Who Lost His Beat" on Sunday, March 13th at 12:00 PM in the Stoller Soreff Social Hall. Camp Scholarship Application Forms
An application is required for all campers wishing to receive the OSRUI scholarships from the Youth Committe. Scholarships are awarded for:
Chalutzim-$400.00
Regular Sessions-$300.00
Atid-$100.00
Additional scholarships based on need are available from the Jeremy Bruder Scholarship Fund. Please speak to one of the Rabbis or Anne to apply. The deadline is April 1st so don't delay.

PADS Cookbook Fundraiser
Help raise money for PADS by purchasing a cookbook written by Ben Hall and a friend for Ben's Bar Mitzvah project. All profits will go directly to DuPage PADS to support their many programs. The cookbooks will be sold during Hebrew School Wednesday, March 9th and during Sunday School on March 13th. Each book is $15 and has over 100 recipes. If you cannot make it to the sale and would like a cookbook, email Ben at and he will be sure to get one (or more!) to you.

Gardening at Etz Chaim- Volunteers Needed
It's that time of year when the flowers are beginning to bloom and clean-up of the gardens needs to be done. We are looking for volunteers to help maintain the gardens at Etz Chaim.
