We're less than a week into the ski season and already enjoying some amazing turns and enormous smiles!
We now have 1,400 of our 1,500 acres open, with regular lift operations 7 days a week.
As you know, a picture is worth a thousand words, so here's a peek at one of our favorites from earlier today.

 We're already gearing up for our first 'Second Sunday' event - January 8, 2012.
This year, we'll have live music in our newly expanded Smoky's Bar and Grill starting at 2:00 pm.
Brundage Mountain Season Pass holders are also invited to bring a friend for $25 on the Second Sunday of January, February and March. BUT - The deal doesn't end there. During all weekends and holiday periods, you can show your current Bogus Basin season pass and purchase an adult, full-day lift ticket at Brundage for only $35. The Backcountry Buzz
New order on Granite Mountain Means a Smoother Ride for Snow Cat Skiers
 A Special Order signed by the Forest Service this month will close 4,730 acres of terrain on Granite Mountain to over-snow motor vehicle use from January 15 - March 31, 2012. This area includes some of our favorite Snow Cat runs (like North and South Dead Tree, Baby Face and Free Willy), and should allow our Snow Cat clients to enjoy this terrain without encountering snowmobile tracks.

Get Prepared for Backcountry Travel with a visit to the Brundage Beacon Park
 Shovels, probes, beacons (and knowledge) are all must-haves when heading into the backcountry. We encourage our adventure-minded visitors to review their backcountry safety skills before heading out beyond the boundaries. Our Avalanche Beacon Park is up and running on the West side of the main lodge and we've put together some other helpful reminders on our Backcountry Safety Page.
