Five NEW Things to Try For the First Time

1. A New Treat for Your Taste Buds

We're remodeling and expanding the second floor of the main lodge to add more seating to our popular Smoky's Pub, and to enlarge Smoky's Kitchen!

The expansion will create 100 additional seats and allow us to offer a fresh, tasty menu designed by our new Food and Beverage Director. The changes will also improve traffic flow to the restrooms and give us options for future improvements on the third floor.

2. Get Your Groove On

The Best Snow in Idaho isn't just about the powder. Our commitment to snow quality has earned us a reputation for top-notch grooming, too. This season, we've invested more than $500,000 to upgrade our grooming fleet with the addition of two brand-new PistenBully 400s. So even if you're a die-hard powder fan, be sure to lay down some tracks on the groomers to see the groovy new surface these mega machines are making.

3. Reduce Your Footprint

Are you eager to ride at Brundage, but reluctant to gas up your ride? We're teaming up with TheSkiLift.org to help you find like-minded people interested in carpooling. These RideShare connections are totally free and a great way to make friends and go green. Sign up at TheSkiLift.org.

4. Befriend a Bear

A friendly new face will be part of our Brundage Bears Kids Program and your children can help welcome him to the family. Our brand new mascot is geared up with skis and goggles, but he's missing one important thing: a name!

We're inviting children ages 4-11 to help us name our soon-to-be-famous bear. Simply go to www.brundage.com/mascot, print out a blank contest sheet, creatively name and color our furry Brundage Bear, and send it back via e-mail or snail mail by December 1. The lucky winner will receive their choice of a Full-Day Bears lesson package or a Youth Season Pass.

5. Be an Instant Expert

This book won't make you an instant expert on the double blacks, but it will make you an instant expert on the mountain environment surrounding Brundage.

A Forgotten Wilderness: Nature's Hidden Relationships in West Central Idaho

The Brundage Nature Foundation is proud to introduce this spectacular book by author Matthew Deren. You'll experience a four-season journey of learning over the course of 176 pages. On January 8, February 12 & March 11, Brundage Mountain Season Pass Holders are invited to bring a friend for $25, and Bogus Basin Season Pass Holders enjoy $25 full-day lift tickets.

Light Up The Night 2011

We had so much fun at last year's "Light Up the Night" celebration, we've decided to do it again!

There are TWO great ways to enjoy our torchlight parade - either as a spectator, or as part of our spectacular on-slope serpentine! Sign ups will be held in early December, but there's no limit to the number of people who can watch the parade AND fireworks show from the base area!

This celebration of our 50th Anniversary also includes live music, extended hours in our newly-remodeled Smoky's Pub and even a sit-down dinner on the third floor for those who pre-purchase tickets.
