Light Up the Night

Everyone's invited to our big party to celebrate 50 Seasons of the Best Snow in Idaho.

We'll have live music, a Torchlight Parade and a FIREWORKS SHOW in the base area, so plan to bring the family because that's all free!

We'll also be serving a Pasta Dinner after the light shows, and space is limited for that, so please click here to learn how to purchase your dinner tickets.

torch light paradeOf course, there's no limit to the number of people who can watch the free festivities - and those even wrap up at a family-friendly hour.

More details on this one-of-a-kind event are available here.

Holiday Users GuideHere are some highlights from our Holiday User's Guide

1. VISIT BEFORE CHRISTMAS
Brundage Mountain's holiday crowds traditionally show up right AFTER Christmas. So if you can spare a few days the week BEFORE the holiday, you can enjoy all of the services and great snow Brundage has to offer, without the big lines.

2. EAT OUT
Outside our main cafeteria, that is. The main lodge in the base area is a hub for countless services, so the main cafeteria can get crowded. If all you need is a tasty meal or something to drink, consider stopping at one of our two on-mountain Food and Beverage outlets. The Bear's Den is located mid-mountain at the top of the Bear Chair and offers a delicious build-your-own fresh burrito bar, in addition to more traditional lunch fare. The Bird's Nest at the top of the Blue Bird quad serves hot dogs and nachos, beer and spirits, as well as tasty pulled pork and chipotle chicken sandwiches. Here are more details on our Dining Options.

3. SLOPESIDE PIT STOPS
(No, we're not suggesting you relieve yourself in the trees!) Brundage Mountain has installed two new "log cabin" vault toilets, bringing the total number of these ski-in/ski-out restrooms to four! You'll find them at the bottom of Easy Street, the base of the Bear Chair/Centennial lifts and in two locations near the base of the Blue Bird quad. These spiffy new biffies are sturdier and more comfortable than traditional porta-potties, and their larger capacity makes them much more pleasant to visit.

4. EASY ACCESS FOR SEASON PASS HOLDERS
It's not just a great way to save, but being a Season Pass Holder is also a great way to build flexibility into your visits. Pass Holders 'in the know' often park in the lower parking lot, then begin their day by loading the Centennial Lift or Bear Chair...without getting anywhere near the lines at the lodge. All of our chairlifts are scheduled to be open EVERY DAY December 17 through January 2, so this is a great way to save time.

5. PLAN AHEAD
To cut time in lines and make sure you get the services you need, we do recommend making reservations for Private Ski & Snowboard Lessons , Brundage Bears Lessons and Daycare. Adult Group lessons do not require a reservation and are offered every day December 18-January 2.

And, while there's room for everyone to watch and enjoy the festivities during our "Light Up the Night" party December 29th, if you'd like to participate in the Torchlight Parade or join us for the hearty Pasta Dinner, you'll want to make sure we're saving you a spot. Here's how.
