ACU clinicians building online community

Never written a blog post? Too busy wearing multiple hats and juggling work and family responsibilities? These obstacles didn't stop a few pioneering clinicians who agreed to share their perspectives on serving the underserved for  PrimaryCareForAll.org  - a secure online community for members of the National Health Service Corps.

Derek Petersen, DDS
of Limon, Colorado,  Rishi Manchanda, MD, Los Angeles, Soba Shukla, FNP, Gaithersburg, MD and Lois Wessel, FNP, Takoma Park, MD have all been writing short blog posts from the front lines. Of them, only Manchanda had previously written for a blog.

Petersen said, "It has it has been a great opportunity to reflect upon and share clinical issues that NHSC providers have in common, as well as learn from others who are in different settings than my own."

You don't need to be a member of the Corps to share your expertise or to recommend someone else. Take a moment to share the names of individuals who can help us build www.PrimaryCareForAll.org to be a leading resource for clinicians in underserved communities. Respond using our easy online reply form.

Are you a NHSC member? We'd love to connect with you. Email your contact info and any links to your media to psimpson@clinicians.org.
