Greetings!

This month's featured package is a large custom die-cut folder for Mohawk Papers. It held swatches of Mohawk's various lines of paper and was used as a self promotion.

Wrapped in Mohawk paper, the folder provided the prospect with an idea for a creative application for the company's product.

This alternative to the standard manila envelope helped Mohawk Papers reinforce their brand identity and made their sample mailer stand out from the crowd.

Construction Details

This folder was made with .030 solid black board. The board was lined with customer supplied Strathmore Grandee Black 80# text weight paper.

Once the paper was lined to the board the material was diecut to create the folder. Included in the die were score lines which were foldered to create a 1.125" capacity to the package.

Finishing the look of the package was the company's logo foil stamped in two areas and two sets of 5/8" black velcion closures to keep the folder closed and items inside secured.
