Coffee House The Metropolitan Coffee House, North Conway Village: Referred to as "The Met" by locals, this hip coffeehouse and art gallery features fine coffees, lots of baked treasures and free Internet access. New Hampshire Magazine calls it "the best coffee house in the North Country".
Casual Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner The J-Town Deli and Country Store: On the loop in Jackson Village. Great spot for breakfast and lunch featuring wholesome daily specials, wraps & sandwiches, homemade soups, chili and fresh salads, plus a fine selection of wine & beer, cheese & pates, grocery items; homemade goodies, coffee, espresso, cappuccino and homemade dinners to go.
Chef's Market of North Conway: North Conway Village A chef-owned gourmet market offering a full line of prepared gourmet dishes, hearty sandwiches, homemade soups, made to order salads, as well as catering, personal chef services, and specialty groceries and beer & wine on premises.
Family Dining Red Fox Pub and Grille, Jackson: Great for families and kids with movie and game room for children of all ages. You'll find steak, ribs, salads, sandwiches and hand-made pizza, always grilled on an open fire. The Sunday All You Can Eat Jazz Breakfast Buffet is just $7.95.
Flatbread Company, in the Eastern Slope Inn in North Conway Village: Natural pizza baked in a primitive wood fired oven prepared with organic produce, free range chicken and nitrate free meats, this restaurant was recently voted the best organic pizza in New Hampshire by New Hampshire Magazine and ranked one of the best places to eat pizza in New England by the Boston Herald.
Horsefeathers, North Conway Village: Here's a Valley institution serving up "Sustenance, Merriment & Cheer" since 1976. A wide selection of soups, appetizers, salads, sandwiches, half-pound burgers, signature dishes and vegetation choices. The State of the Art Brownie Sunday is a must experience.
Rafferty's Restaurant and Pub, North Conway Village: Casual family dining, American cuisine. Grilled fare, pasta dishes, sandwiches, pizza and a large children's menu. Voted best chili in the Valley for three straight years. They also offer a wide selection of gluten-free (no wheat) items and vegetarian choices. Sports bar with LCD and Plasma TVs.
Fine Dining The Inn at Thorn Hill and Spa, Jackson: Rated one of the Top 10 Country Inns in America by a panel of guides and travel writers. One of only five dining rooms in the state to receive the four-diamond award by AAA since 1997. Their wine list is the only one in New Hampshire to have won the prestigious "Best of the Award of Excellence" from Wine Spectator Magazine this year. The inn also offers Wine Dinners on a regular basis. There is a large lounge area overlooking the Presidential's with two fireplaces, with live entertainment on Mondays and Saturdays. Located in Jackson Village. Reservations suggested.
Darby Field Inn, Conway: From the rack of lamb and generous portions of grilled tenderloins to home made desserts, dinners are topped off with spectacular views from the Moats to the Presidentials. Worth the drive. Only 3 miles from Conway Village to Albany.
The Notchland Inn, Harts Location: Named one of the Top 12 Romantic Inn's in the U.S. by BedandBreakfast.com, Notchland presents a 5-course dinner each evening, except Mondays in a single seating at 7:00pm, Dinner is served at individual tables, in a romantic, fireplaced dining room overlooking the gardens and the pond.
