MT WASHINGTON VALLEY
SAYS BRING
ON THE MUD
It’s been a usual winter, and mud season is predicted
to come early to Mt. Washington Valley. When the
snows melt, and the waterfalls flow, many locals
welcome the advent of spring. In Mt. Washington
Valley, NH, however this is the season affectionately
referred to as “Mud Season”, when businesses roll
out the brown carpet and invite travelers to come
play in the mud capital of New England. Renowned
for its World Mud Bowl Championships in the fall, Mt.
Washington Valley’s Yankee proprietors know a good
thing when they see it, and they’re proud of
their “dirty minds”. In ample supply from April
through June, products and packages featuring mud
grace the scene for only a short time during the
muddy months. So don’t let the early worm get all
the fun, take advantage of Mt. Washington Valley’s
muddy offerings, and get in on some wonderfully
affordable lodging packages too.

camping experience. This adult-only RV resort offers

rolling hills that will overlook a pond, hiking trails, and
the White Mountains. In addition to all the facilities
of the Danforth Bay Camping Resort – a fully-stocked

"While the idea of a RV resort designed specifically
for adults over 50 is familiar in Florida, Arizona and
Texas, it's new for New England," said Bluffs project
manager Tim Powers. The $3.5 million dollar
expansion will be the first of its kind for a New
England RV resort, reflecting changes that the
camping and RV industries have seen nationwide
Reservations at The Bluffs are limited to two adults,

older. Children may visit on a short-term basis when
accompanied by an adult. Pets are welcome as long
as they are well behaved, friendly and happy.

Memorial Day, 2006. The seasonal rate includes
Internet, cable TV, visitors fees, and access to all
programs and facilities at Danforth Bay Camping
Resort. An introductory two-week minimum stay will
