Fall foliage will soon be upon us, in fact in the
Northern-most parts of the Valley, autumn comes
early. Leaves have already started turning in the
North Country. While only Mother Nature knows for
sure, we anticipate a brilliant foliage season, having
had plenty of rain over the summer.
We encourage you to plan your trip to Mt.
Washington Valley for what is always the most
beautiful time of year, but one word of
warning - BOOK NOW OR FOREVER HOLD YOUR
PEEP! No where in New England is foliage as
beautiful as New Hampshire’s White Mountains.
Thus, visitors come from all over the world to view
the spectacle of colors. Add to that a full round-up
of events and festivals, and fall foliage is clearly busy
in the Valley. Don’t wait to book your autumn
getaway. Visit
www.mtwashingtonvalley.org and click on the
lodging button to research the best places to stay,
or
for packages, click on the Harvest to Holiday
wreath.
The Mt. Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce
keeps an up-to-date list of lodging availability, as
well as a complete calendar of events and more. We
encourage you to call 1-800-DO-SEE-NH (or 800-367-
3364) if you have any questions, or need help finding
a place to stay.
