We're going through the process of incorporating our organization.  We need someone with a tax law and/or accounting background to advise us on which structure is more appropriate for our group:  a 501 (c) (3), a 501 (c)(7) or other.  If you have the knowledge and are willing to provide 30 minutes of pro bono advice for us, please contact Kevin.
Group Brunch & Annual Planning Meeting
Sunday, January 31st, 1 pm to 3 pm

ideasThe Steering Committee invites all members of Northwest Corner to share your thoughts about the events and activities you'd like to see NWC focus on this year.  Your input is especially important since we're planning to add civic/volunteering opportunities to our calendar for 2010, in addition to a rich variety of social events.

To make the brainstorming easy and fun,  we're throwing a combination casual brunch (including mimosas) and planning meeting on January 31st.  Here's the agenda:

1:00 to 1:45:  Casual Brunch and Socializing
1:45 to 2:15:  Discussion re Social Events
2:15 to 2:45:  Discussion of Civic Events
2:45 to 3:00:  Discussion of Fund Raising Opportunities

This brunch is free, and we hope you'll all plan to attend.  We'll be meeting at Clint and Ollie's house at 6011 Green Terrace Lane (close to the old Inwood Forest Golf Club).

Please RSVP via Evite.  For more information, contact Carol.
