Greetings!
This message is going out to all the procrastinators in the group - and you know who you are! To make it possible for everyone to attend the Gay-La, even you folks who are "commitment challenged", we've decided to to sell tickets at the door on New Year's Eve. That way, if your "better offer" doesn't materialize, you can still join your Northwest Corner friends in ringing in the New Year. If you're planning to buy at the door, please bring cash or a check. Credit cards are only accepted for on-line purchases, which will be available through noon on New Year's Eve.
We know this will be a horrible disappointment for you, but this is the last message you'll receive about the Gay-La! Can't wait to see you all tomorrow night!

Come ring in 2010 with your friends from Northwest Corner! Your $50 entry fee includes:
* extensive appetizers * dancing * decorations and party favors * champagne toast at midnight * cash bar.
Designer
Kevin Hamby promises that he is creating an environment full of shimmer
and sparkle to help us ring in a gay ol' New Year! The DJ will be
spinning vintage disco, rock and Motown, along with a sprinkling of
salsa and country for your toe-tapping pleasure.
Atten dance is limited to 150 guests, and you can buy your tickets in advance by clicking on the icon below. Tickets will also be available at the door (cash or check only at the door, please).

Attire: This is NOT a black tie event, but we do hope you'll find something festive to wear!Menu: The SandTrap Grill has created a wonderful selection of appetizers for us:Carnitas Tortas- Traditional Mexican Roast Pork sandwich with quacamole, pico
de gallo, shredded lettuce, cheese and our homemade green taco sauce. Tamales with special homemade salsa Vietnamese Cold vegetable spring
rolls w/ spicy peanut dipping sauce.
Grilled Asparagus spears w/ freshly grated Parmesan and balsamic dressing.
Sausage stuffed Mushrooms. Fried Zucchini w/ ranch, jalapeno ranch and honey mustard
Three items for the veggie lovers and three items for the carnivores - seems fair to me!Special Hotel Rates Right Next To Our
Venue: Want to celebrate with us, but don't want to be
on the road on New Year's Eve? We've got a great solution for you! The
Staybridge Suites, adjacent to the Sandtrap Grill, is offering deeply
discounted rates for NWC guests for the night of our party. Select from a
studio suite with queen bed for $60, a one bedroom suite with king bed for $75,
or a 2 bedroom/2 bath suite for $100. They are even waiving their pet fee for
us that night! And did we mention the free hot breakfast? Such a deal! To make your reservations, please call 281-807-3700 and tell the
reservation clerk that you want the special Northwest Corner rate.
And remember that singles will be very welcome at this event. Why should
new year's eve celebrations be limited to couples???? After the tough
year we've all had, we think every one of us, regardless of relationship status,
deserves to ring in the new year with friends and frivolity. We PROMISE
that there will be a lot of singles in attendance!

The weather may be fowl today, but tomorrow will be just ducky, so fly on over to the Gay-La! OK, we're just winging it here, but you'd be quackers to miss out on the fun! Sincerely,
The Northwest Corner Steering Committee
