MORE RESOURCES FOR NEW & EXISTING BUSINESSES
Website Redesign & New Job Posting Program Add Value for Existing Businesses & Entrepreneurs
LCDC recently redeveloped the existing business portion of the website to emphasize its appreciation of existing businesses and how LCDC can support local businesses as they make plans to grow and expand.  Now, existing businesses and entrepreneurs can access the Business Resources section of the website to request a business visit, learn more about local funding opportunities and state-level programs, and connect with tried-and-true resources to help them plan, grow, and expand.

Employers in Leavenworth County can also take advantage of LCDC's new Job Posting Service that uses Twitter to share job openings with the greater community. Sign up for the service here, and follow @LVCOJobs on Twitter!
LCDC BUILDS RELATIONSHIPS AT MLB ALL-STAR GAME
Ad in All-Star Program Promotes Leavenworth County
In July, Steve Jack attended several events that were a part of a 3-day affair centered around the MLB All-Star Game. Site selectors from across the country were hosted by Kansas City Area Development Council to learn more about the Kansas City metro as a great place to locate a business and meet with area economic developers to establish and strengthen connections.

In addition to participating in KCADC's activities, LCDC partnered with the Kansas Department of Commerce and other Kansas communities to sponsor an ad in the program that promoted Kansas a business-friendly state.
E-BLAST CAMPAIGN FEATURES FIRST CITY CENTER
