Prayer for Military Families

Thank You & Welcome to Prayer for Military Families

Thank you for praying for Afghanistan with us during Lent. God alone knows how our prayers will be answered, but on April 11th, 50 Taliban insurgents, one of them a key leader, defected to the Afghan government. The situation is Afghanistan remains dangerous, however so your continued prayers for this troubled country will be welcome.

As a follow up to the Lenten Prayers, we've developed 52 weeks of prayer for military families.  If you are interested, do nothing, and you'll receive a weekly email message about one of the challenges facing military families, and a suggested prayer for the week.  If you'd prefer not to receive these prayers, simply click on the "Safe Unsubscribe" link.

Welcome to 52 weeks of prayer for Military Families. The Association for Christian Conferences,

Wall of Prayer Logo - Week 1Teaching and Service (ACCTS) provides administrative support for the worldwide Association of Military Christian Fellowships (AMCF).  The president of AMCF, General Lee, Pil Sup, former Chief of the Korean Armed Forces, encourages the AMCF membership in 128 countries around the world to pray each day at noon, thus blanketing the globe in prayer.  We should be equally disciplined in building a supporting Wall of Prayer around our military families this year.

- Lord God, we thank you for the faithful who prayed with us during Lent, and we ask your continued blessings for the people of Afghanistan.

 - Father, help us to be disciplined and faithful in our prayers for military families, so that as we make our requests known, we become more conformed to your will, more surrendered to your service, and better witnesses to your grace.
