Thanks for joining us in prayer for Afghanistan this Lent. On Wednesday,
March 9 you'll receive the first email prayer reminder, with another message
every day except Sunday through April 23. The information in these messages
is intended to highlight the challenges facing both the ISAF forces and the
people of Afghanistan, and we hope that it will help facilitate more
informed and effective prayer for those concerns.

The authors of this project serve as staff for an international military
ministry, and both have sons currently engaged in fighting the Taliban
insurgency. Praying for those who seek to harm us is not easy, but Christ
has called us in Matthew 5:44 to "Love your enemies and pray for those who
persecute you," so in grateful obedience, we pray for the Taliban as well as
for our troops and the people of Afghanistan.
