Notes from The Moving Path 
The Season of Spring Rebirth & Renewal is fast upon us!
I write to you today from The Sophia Institute, Charleston, SC, downtown in the historic district; my door is open, the birds' song beckons me outside to welcome the dawn. EE Cummings so beautifully described Springs' arrival as the thousand shades of Spring Green. Renewal, revitalization, rebirth, refresh...words that so aptly describe Spring's gifts to us. I feel blessed and I am blessed!
Of course, I write to entice you to join me for professional training, personal development or just plain enjoyment in one of our many programs taking place at Esalen, in Bali, Charleston or Miami. Our newest program, the 200/300 Hour Yoga Teachers' Training with Dashama, begins in Bali on June 5. Dashama has some open spaces in her program for the entire four weeks, or for 1, 2, or 3 weeks of retreat/training. Here's a link to her site, where you can read, view and register.

MovingVentures now has six Indonesians on our faculty and staff toward the education of an Indonesian man or woman in one of our somatic arts programs. US$780.00 pays the out of pocket expenses Moving Ventures incurs for a student in the Esalen® Massage Training. Our leaders donate their time to educate these eager students. Certification leads them to well paying jobs, frequently multiplying their annual income by 20 times.
