Happy Valentine's Day!
May you embody love today. May all love surround you and guide your way Home...to your heart. Ultimately, Love, Love, Love is the answer to all questions. One quote cames to mind, "May the Sweet Baby Jesus, quieten your mind and open your heart." was spoken to me by my close friend, colleague and spiritual brother, Royal David Streeter. David moved from earth to heaven on Wed. Feb. 9; I know he is now wrapped in the arms of Love. If you knew him, I know you are sending him blessings right now. His poetry will live on and on. I have copies of his books and one priceless calligraphy he made especially for me. There will be a memorial service at Esalen later in the month. Hafiz wrote one my favorite odes to LOVE, I've embellished it a bit:  It Happens All Time In Heaven: It happens all the time in Heaven, And one day soon it will happen again here on earth, That men and women who are married, And men and men who love eachother And, women and women who give eachother light And, families, and people who work together, Are seen, getting down on their knees, And, heard, with great tenderness in their voices, Saying, "Tell me my dear, how can I be more loving to you today, How can I be more kind?" It happens all the time in heaven, and perhaps right now, it's happening in your one wild and precious life!!!  St. Valentine gave his life, as the tale goes, on February 14, circa 268 AD, for secretly marrying young couples, during a ban on marriage by Emperor Claudius; who, during his reign, banned marriage to keep young on the battlefield.
