National Depression Screening Day On October 7th OceanMHS staff participated in National Depression Screening Day. We offered depression and anxiety screenings to the community at the County Connection store in the Ocean County Mall. We look forward to participating in this event again next year. And the improvement we plan to make? Goodie bags for everyone that completes a registration! |
Race for Respect - 2010
And speaking of goodie bags (see story above) we handed out over 100 at our Race for Respect 5K. The cold November morning didn't deter the runners or walkers that participated in our first 5K. Congratulations to Brian Anderson for being the first to cross the finish line at 19.52 minutes. Thanks to the many volunteers, participants and sponsors the event was a huge success (see story below)! |

If you are interested in participating as we work to enhance the quality of life of people with mental illnesses, please send me an e-mail at cgaetano@oceanmhs.org or call me at 732-349-1977 x113 |
