I've had some fun these past few months. It all started off with a guest appearance on the Trendy Pop show found on Yowie.com hosted by comedians, Chrissy Swinko and Gillian Bellinger. It was their second show and because it's a live, interactive thing, there were a few glitches and elements that needed to be worked out but these girls are certainly doing a great job and making a wonder name for themselves. I watched the first show and realized they needed to personalize their set so that was the inspiration for doing my "How to paint a banner" episode. They were thrilled with the results and I was happy to do it for them. The show is now up in the yowie.com archives for viewing.  

From there, I went on to build myself a floor fountain after hearing tips on utilizing feng shui energy for a prosperous 2011. I always enjoy making use of things I have laying around the studio to help raise the luck factor in my life.  From there I decided it was time to do something with the ugly table I picked by the side of the road. I've had the table hanging around for a few months and I often wondered if maybe I should just trash. But that didn't happen and found myself with the fix-it-up bug so I made a show about the transformation.

As Easter was fast approaching I was real uncertain about what to do for a show. I mean last year I built a 12' giant rabbit in my back yard, how could I top that I thought. I realized it was pointless so instead so this year I decided to work on promoting my facebook page for Easter.  I won a webinar on utilizing facebook from HUTdogs and yes they were very helpful. I spent a great deal of time learning how to create my own personalized app buttons and also how to add some extras to my page. I thought it would be a good idea to giveaway a painting to a lucky "Liker" on facebook. I made it so people that already like my page have more opportunities and chances to win by simply referring others.  I will be choosing the name at the end of the month and then I'll be running other art giveaways over the next few months so check in often. http://facebook.com/thehandygoddess
