Bricks and the Big Load
 

 
 
 
 
 
Funky brick work is wonderful but you have to be able to sweep up the surface to keep in neat and clean.
 
With that in mind, the Handy Goddess spreads herself out over the brick and vacuums  the area between as she prepares herself for the big load.
 
First she seals the brick with a tinted sealer to protect and enrich the color of the brick then she uses her mortar bag and fills the grout joints with mortar.

In this episode the Handy Goddess take you on a magic carpet ride as she transforms a plain concrete slab into visual bed of softness.
 
She Begins by preparing her surface before she lays it all out. And then she starts the design by teaching you how to mask out a border pattern without a ruler. She explains how size doesn't matter as she tapes out the border.
 
She then shows how by layering it on and giving yourself more playtime with easy sponge application techniques and stencils patterns  you can create a magical carpet design easily on any concrete surface.

I'm still finishing back yard projects and in this issue I'm hightlighting the work of an old  patio-like area  and in my upcoming shows, I'll be  laying sod and creating homemade stepping stones.
