The Research Experience for Teachers program is now accepting applications for Summer 2012 (July 9-August 18). Participants spend six weeks on the UW-Madison campus, where they work on developing classroom activities related to bioenergy. Applications are due April 23, 2012. For more information, click here. Vernier has developed a new kit that investigates enzyme action as a part of making biofuels. To learn more about the kit, click here. GLBRC E & O has used this experiment in our UW-Madison freshman undergraduate course with great success!
