I once read where Texas was described as "...a barren wasteland, chronically plagued between droughts and floods;" or something similar to that. Well whomever conveyed those thoughts kinda' new what they were talking about. We had another 2" of rain today, and some are forecasting more overnight. Oh well, us Texas farmers love challenges. If not, we'd all move to California where the weather is perfect for growing, pretty much year round, right?
CSA members, in your shares this week: Leeks, Snow Peas, Kale, Strawberries, Broccoli, Cauliflower (Full only), Salad Mix, Micro Greens, Beets.
